Refund and Returns Policy – Synapsis Lab
1. Nature of the Digital Product
Due to the nature of digital products (downloadable software) provided by Synapsis Lab, once the product has been downloaded or the license key activated, the purchase cannot be returned. Unlike physical goods, our plugins and add-ons generate immediate value (such as content translation or page cloning) that cannot be “returned”.
“Given the software’s ability to perform massive translations and clonings in a short time, the product’s value is consumed immediately after use. Therefore, refund requests motivated by the completion of the work for which the software was purchased will not be accepted.”
2. Refund Conditions
We do not offer refunds for “change of mind” or because you no longer like the product after purchase. A refund is considered exclusively if ALL the following conditions are met:
- Demonstrated Technical Malfunction: The plugin does not perform the functions declared in the official description.
- Video Proof: It is mandatory to attach a video (screen recording) that clearly shows the error or technical malfunction within your WordPress environment.
- Attempted Resolution: Before requesting a refund, you must have contacted our technical support at {your-email} and allowed us at least 48-72 business hours to attempt to resolve the issue or provide you with a solution.
- Timing: The request must be received within 14 days (or 30, your choice) from the date of purchase.
3. Cases where a refund is NOT granted
Refund requests will not be approved in the following cases:
- You changed your mind about the purchase.
- You purchased the product by mistake.
- You do not have the necessary technical skills to configure API Keys (e.g., Google Gemini Key), despite our video guides.
- There is a conflict with third-party plugins not mentioned as compatible in our documentation.
- The problem stems from API provider account limitations (e.g., limited quotas or incorrectly configured Google Cloud account).
4. Sale Items or Offers (Sale Items)
Items purchased on sale, with discount coupons, or during special promotional campaigns (e.g., LTD – Lifetime Deals) are non-refundable, except for serious and unresolvable technical malfunctions.
5. Request Procedure
If you believe you are entitled to a refund according to the criteria listed above, please send an email to {your-email} with:
- Subject: Refund Request – Order #[order number]
- Detailed description of the problem.
- Link to the demonstration video (you can use services like Loom, unlisted YouTube, or Google Drive).
Once the documentation is received, our team will analyze the case and notify you of the approval or refusal of the refund within 5 business days.
6. Licenses and Subscriptions
Our products are sold as one-time payment licenses or with annual renewal for support and updates. We do not apply monthly subscriptions. Failure to renew the annual license will result in the loss of access to updates and technical support, but the plugin will remain installed on your site (under GPL license).
